Policy Information
Security
For the security of our customers, we may require additional ID in the case of orders that have mismatched billing and shipping addresses, are expensive or electronic items, and/or are flagged by our fraud prevention system.
We require customers to present their driver's license, and credit card used to purchase online upon pickup of their order in-store. Alternative forms of ID may be accepted with prior approval.
Taxes
All orders within Canada are subject to GST (Goods & Services Tax), the appropriate HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) and PST (Provincial Sales Tax) for their region.
Unfortunately, our website isn't able to exclude PST for shipping to British Columbia, but we will correct it after purchase by refunding PST on any exempt items.
These items include bicycles (including e-bikes), and parts, which are defined as anything that is essential to the basic functioning of your bicycle. You can find detailed rules here.
Returns & Exchanges
Parts, accessories, and clothing with the original receipt, tags, and packaging may be returned for a full refund in the original form of payment within 30 days.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase within 30 days, please contact us and we will come up with a solution.
Items purchased on closeout or sale are final sale and may not be returned. For returns on web orders the customer is responsible for return shipping costs if there is no error with the product received.
E-Bike Batteries & Chargers
Ordering the incorrect battery or charge for your bike could result in a non-functioning e-bike, and further damage.
When we receive orders for e-bike batteries and chargers, we reach out for the bike's serial number to verify compatibility.
This will also allow us to check that the bike isn't registered as stolen or missing. A copy of the purchase receipt will also do if it wasn't purchased from Ridley's Cycle.
Errors & Typos
In order to provide our customers with accurate information, Ridley's Cycle works strives to keep our website free of errors.
However, Ridley's Cycle is not responsible for any typographical errors. In the case that an error is discovered, we strive to resolve the situation.

Almost all of our orders ship for free when the cart total is over $99
Select items or categories may be subject to additional freight charges. We reserve the right to adjust shipping charges on a case-by-case basis, any additional shipping charge will be communicated with the customer.
We currently ship only to addresses within Canada and the continental US. Some items, including bicycles, oversized car racks and other restricted items, may not be available for ship to home or may incur additional shipping fees.

If for any reason your order does not have the correct shipping charge applied, our e-Commerce team will reach out to let you know and in some cases, invoice for payment.

International Shipping
Shipping to the continental U.S. is available and may be subject to additional charges. Orders under $800 are not subject to duty although the carrier may charge import. All duty, import fees, and state taxes are the recipients responsibility to cover. Orders are subject to local tax rates.
Some oversized items already have shipping charges added. Any oversized item would be subject to oversized shipping charges and international shipping charges.
Salsa & Ibis bikes are unable to ship internationally, as well as select other products. Please inquire with our webchat or email us at info@ridleys.com with any questions you may have.
