At Chromag we simply want to produce things that the staff want to use, day in, day out, which is why we're very proud to announce the Rift. We saw an opportunity to produce a knee guard that ticked some boxes that we felt were currently left empty, and in partnering with the engineers at RHEON™ Labs, we've managed to create a guard that we're extremely proud of, but most of all, keen to slip on whenever we head out for a ride. The majority of the protection is located up front provided by RHEON™ and encased in an aramid skin to provide resistance to abrasions and tears. Additional lateral foam inserts keep the pad low-profile and allow for unrestricted movement, without bumping the cost sky high. The RHEON™ insert is located on an airprene backing to provide structure, and also moderate temperatures on those all day epics. The calf gusset is designed to keep the pad in place, combined with the generous silicone band around the top, and the upper stretch mesh which allows movement of your leg while keeping everything where it needs to be. The Rift comes in 5 sizes from XS to XL, and is fully machine washable. CE certified EN 1621-1:2012.

Chromag's BZA 35 stem is strong, light, and burly. Featuring a 35mm bar/stem interface and weighing a perfect 165 grams this stem is light yet extremely stiff for positive control. - CNC profiling - Weight: 165g (50mm length)

The Pilot BA is the union of Chromag's extensive flat pedal design combined with a proven, dual sided SPD compatible cleat engagement system. With a long, 110mm body, the Pilot BA's pins reach beyond the cleat channel of most shoes to provide a secure 5-point pin contact between shoe and pedal. The Pilot BA features our G.3 high-strength chromoly axle system, with a double seal, inner bushing, and outer cartridge bearing.

The BA30 is the rim for high-impact riding when the trails are rough and rugged. With an internal bracing structure, the BA30 has torsional stiffness for directional control in demanding circumstances. The BA30 features a thick bead wall adjacent the tire to resist impact deformation, with a wider, rounded top-edge to reduce cuts from pinch/impacts. The nipple/spoke bed is oriented to the spoke direction to reduce weakness caused by the bend in the spoke at the nipple hole. The BA30 is fusion welded to leave a perfect seamless joint that becomes the strongest section of the rim ensuring that your rim won’t split if you impact at the seam. The rims are laced to our new R4 hub. The R4 is designed to be a solid, reliable hub with a durable axle assembly and robust set of bearings. We opted for a Chromoly steel axle for stiffness and longevity. Using steel allows a smaller diameter axle which in turn gives us more room to use larger, sealed bearings (we use USA made enduro bearings). The nipple/spoke bed is oriented to the spoke direction to reduce weakness caused by bend in the spoke at the nipple hole. The BA30 is made with premium alloy, extruded with an internal brace profile and carefully formed for consistent shape. It is then fusion welded and ground for a strong precise finish. Our fusion welding system leaves a perfect seamless joint that becomes the strongest section of the rim ensuring that your rim won’t split if you impact at the seam.
